A lot of men don’t seem to like Dr. Phil. I’m not sure why. Yes, he gives advice to people, but he does it in a pretty manly way.
- He’s not easily bruised.
- He tells it like it is.
- He doesn’t mince words.
- Sometimes, lately, he’s even a little harsh to some people.
If you are a guy who absolutely does not want to watch Dr. Phil, you may want to rethink your stance. Even though he can sometimes be a little hard to listen to (just being real), he has some pretty awesome advice that will help you get the life you want if you listen to it.
1. Behavior Matters
According to Dr. Phil, your behavior matters. In fact, according to every successful person I’ve ever listened to, your behavior matters. If you are willing to do what others are not willing to do, then you can have the success that others are not going to have.
You have to behave your way to success. Winners do the things losers don’t want to do. #DrPhil pic.twitter.com/KnWcQPh1cD

2. Why Do Your Relationships Suck?
Dr. Phil has said one thing over and over again, and if you ignore everything else he says, remember this one tweet. When you let other people abuse you or make you feel bad, they think it’s okay to do so. This one tweet will help you find more happiness in your relationships and with yourself.

3. Sick Of Being Alone?
A lot of guys hate being alone. I’ve often said that perspective can change how you feel about any situation, including being alone. The following tweet by Dr. Phil is so true. Adopt it into your belief system and you will feel better about being alone.
It’s better to be healthy alone, than sick with somebody else. #DrPhil pic.twitter.com/s7b266YMhB

4. Who Do You Want In Your Life?
This is something I have learned over time. It’s almost a joke that hiding things from your partner is a part of life. That’s not true. The best partner has nothing to hide from you – and they hide nothing. That’s the kind of person (or rather trait) you should be looking for in a woman and in yourself.

5. You’re A Wimp – Or Are You?
Negative self-talk is a way of life for many people. We easily talk about how we can’t do something or go after something we want. But the truth is that your negative views about yourself are not true – they are just a view. If you think about it, you are much stronger, wiser, cooler, or smarter than you give yourself credit for. Start talking to yourself better and you will really be able to see the truth in that.

6. If You Don’t Admit There’s Something Wrong, You Won’t Change
One of my ultimate favorite quotes from Dr. Phil is in the following tweet. If you are stuck in life, and you don’t admit there is a problem, you can’t change!
You can’t change what you don’t acknowledge. #DrPhil http://t.co/qQ5MprTvEw pic.twitter.com/sI8XqpM7We

7. How Happiness Is Achieved
Do you believe that every woman has mistreated you? Do you hold on to negative experiences that happened because of other people? Do you stay in a negative state because you believe that you were right and you are not willing to let go of that mindset? This tweet is for you, and the quote could change your life if you live by it. I know it has mine.
You can decide that you want to be right, or you can decide that you want to be happy. #DrPhil pic.twitter.com/vmCmLWTcZS

8. Make Today Count!
I strongly believe we all deserve to be happy. Many of us are stuck in unhealthy behaviors, though, that keep us unhappy. Today is the best day to start taking action for your happiness, and Dr. Phil agrees!
It’s time for you to claim the happiness that you deserve in your life. #DrPhil pic.twitter.com/fRE0WknEB2

9. How Is Your Relationship With Yourself?
Looking for that perfect woman? The truth is that when you feel good with yourself, you have much more to offer any woman. Make sure you respect, love, and take care of yourself always.
The most important relationship you will ever have is the one with yourself. #DrPhil pic.twitter.com/EJDYzFddTP

10. How Do You See The World?
How you perceive everything around you dictates how your life plays out. For instance, if you see women as mean, then you will never really have a good relationship with women. How can you when you see them as mean?
The good news is that perception is not reality. What you see in one situation or person is not what someone else sees. That means there are many different possible ‘realities’ going on right now, and you can change how you look at the world and how you interact with it.

Dr. Phil Gets It
Whether you love him or hate him, he really gets the world around him.
He knows what it takes to have a great relationship. He knows the bullshit stories that hold you back from getting the woman, relationship, or life that you want. And, he is a guy that you should listen to if you want a happier and more fulfilling life.
