Have you ever been in a relationship with a woman, or just dating a woman, and been in a moment where you found another woman very attractive? Have you had a hard time getting that other woman off your mind? Did you feel bad that you were thinking about her in ways that should be reserved for your girlfriend?
The following video is very insightful. The guy in it (Elliott Hulse) talks about another guy who cannot get a woman off his mind, even though he has a girlfriend. I think Elliot answers the problem in a very interesting way that can benefit a lot of guys (and even girls).
Originally, when I was asked the question about being attracted to another woman, I may have said something completely different, but he tackles the question in a very thought-provoking way, and I honestly believe this is what will work best for most guys out there.
Interestingly, I recently started a course that is about breaking through energy blocks that are holding you back from the life you want, and the woman doing the course talks about living from moment to moment and not holding on to negative feelings, or feeling bad about a moment in time, which is pretty much what Elliot is saying in this video. She talks about ‘blowing up’ those moments, which essentially means appreciating them and then letting them go.
Watch the following video, and you may gain some insight into how to handle your thoughts about other women.
In short, what Elliot is saying is that the guilt is the problem. If you feel bad the moment you look at another woman and feel attracted to her, or as he says – get an erection, then you are going to hold that guilt in your mind and perpetuate your thoughts about her.
What you need to do (if you know that you are not going to be able to do anything with her) is appreciate the attraction, allow the process in your body to happen, and then let it go.
Let it go.
Don’t hold on to the guilt.
Don’t deny the experience that is happening – because it is a natural human experience to be attracted to other people.
Just appreciate the moment and the experience that your body is naturally having, and then move on.
