I’m currently reading Visualization For Weight Loss by Jon Gabriel. While the book is focused on weight loss through visualization, it is also really focused on visualization itself, and it got me thinking – the concepts in this book can be applied to get anything you want, including getting women. So, how does visualization really help you attract a woman? And how can you apply it to your life? Let’s talk about that.
What Is Positive Visualization?
Essentially, it is a method of picturing what you would like to see happen.
But, it goes beyond picturing. It is feeling, living, and experiencing the scene you are perceiving. When you were a kid, you were probably very good at visualizing.
For instance, you may have visualized yourself on a new bike riding around the block, going faster than your friends, feeling the wind on your face, hearing the wheels speed along, and eventually parking the bike in front of your home. You probably visualized the details of the bike too – the color, the stickers, the wheels, and anything you wanted it to have on it.
Do you visualize like that still? Probably not. As we get older, it seems we visualize more of what we don’t want than focusing on fun and exciting daydreams.
Is Visualization A Real Tool For Success?
Visualization actually has a lot of people backing up its effectiveness.
For instance, this study shows how visualization can actually help you get stronger muscles. In fact, only visualizing an exercise can help you obtain pretty good results when compared to physically doing the thing you are visualizing. In the study, participants using visualization were able to increase the strength in their finger by 35%, whereas the group doing the physical training increased their strength by 53%, and the group doing nothing experienced no changes.
Also, visualization is used by a ton of athletes to find success in their sport. Even Arnold Schwarzenegger has talked about visualization for success. You can listen to a few athletes talk about how they use visualization on this Huffpost Live video.
And, when I hear about visualization, I always think about Jim Carrey.
In the book I’m reading, Jon Gabriel talks about how he lost 226 pounds through visualization. He doesn’t accredit it to manifestation. Instead, he says the visualization changed his habits and the hormones in his body that were making him fat, such as leptin – and that visualization can help anyone change their hormones in their body. He says that visualization can help you convince your body that you need to be thin and, therefore, promote the processes that are needed to create a thinner you.
How Can Visualization Help You Attract A Woman?
There are three different ways that visualization can help you attract a woman.
1. You Can Create Better Habits Through Visualization
When you visualize yourself engaging in a new, positive habit, you are more likely to stay consistent than if you do not use visualization. Why? When you visualize yourself doing the habit, you increase interest in it, focus attention on it, and remove anxiety around it.
For example, if you go to bed and visualize yourself getting up in the morning and going to the gym, you may want to visualize putting your shoes on, feeling good as you step outside, feeling motivated as you step inside the gym, finding the perfect machine for you, and feeling pumped as you leave. This whole imagined scenario can help you get excited for the morning workout and help you avoid hitting the snooze button. This isn’t just woo-hoo. This study showed that engaging in visualization about the process helps to produce the desired outcome.
We all know that creating better habits makes you happier, more fulfilled, and more interesting. And when you have more to offer a woman, you are more likely to attract the perfect woman to you.
2. You Can Become More Confident Around Women Through Visualization
How do you currently visualize women? Do you visualize them as unreachable? Are they hard to approach? Are they hard to get? And, if you visualize women in this way, how do you visualize yourself? Struggling, upset, and losing? That’s not a very good way to boost your confidence! Every time you see yourself losing with women, you reinforce the idea that you are a loser with women.
All things stem from the mind – including your confidence level. The way you visualize yourself to be is the way you are.
The great thing about visualization, is that you can expand the ‘realities’ of yourself. For instance, instead of just visualizing yourself confidently approach a woman, you can expand that visualization and help yourself feel even more confident by making yourself taller, extremely attractive, or noticed by everyone you pass by.
3. You Can De-stress
There is no doubt that visualization can help you de-stress. It helps you step out of a busy day (or life) and take some time to be in a place that makes you feel great.
For instance, visualizing walking beside the ocean at dusk, listening to the waves, and feeling the water at your feet can be very relaxing.
Even the Calm Clinic, talks about how visualization can help with anxiety. They promote it is a tool that helps you to cope with anxiety symptoms during periods of high stress.
When you allow yourself to de-stress and calm down, you affect your mood, emotional health, and physical health positively.
Relieving stress can help you have more positive thoughts and feelings, and help you behave in a more positive way – such as taking the leap in asking a woman out, or keeping a level head in a sticky situation and winning over a woman because of it, or a million other ways.
The bottom line is that relieving stress can really help you become a happier and overall more attractive person.
How Do You Do Visualization?
From my research, there are a lot of different ways that you can visualize for success.
I don’t know if one way is better than the other, but I do know that you have to get into a relaxed state before you can even think about visualizing. Everyone agrees on that!
The guy in the following video talks about a 5-step system for visualization. There is a lot of talking about the ‘why’ of visualization until about the 5:00 mark. So you may want to forward through to that point.
Basically, his 5-step process can be applied to attracting women like this:
Step 1: Make a goal (be more confident, make more money, lose weight, etc.) Also, write down what you would feel if you achieved each goal.
Step 2: Get into an alpha state…a relaxed state of mind.
Step 3: Start to visualize the stuff you wrote down in step 1 with pictures, sounds, feeling, scents, etc. Make a scenario related to your goal. For instance, imagine yourself strutting your stuff around town and being noticed (in a good way) by all the women you pass.
Step 4: Turbo charge your visualizations. Figure out what would have to happen to double your feelings, and then double it through your visualizations. For example, visualize every woman saying ‘yes’ when you ask for the number.
Step 5: Repeat your visualizations. Do them over and over again.

Should You Visualize?
Not everyone thinks visualization works. And that’s okay.
Personally, I think if something works for other people, and could benefit my life in some way, then I might as well give it a shot. This is especially true if I enjoy doing it, and I enjoy visualization. I’m willing to bet you will too.
Can you use visualization to help you get women? Absolutely! It can help you become the person you want to be to attract women into your life.
