You may have heard of guardian angels, but there are actually 9 types. These types of angels not only protect us from harm and guide us through difficult times, but they also serve different purposes in our lives. One angel may be assigned to watch over a single person or group, while another is responsible for the care of all living things on Earth. Some types carry out tasks such as healing or teaching; others act as messengers between God and people. Discover which type you are most like with this informative article!
What are Guardian Angels
Guardian angels are the types of angels that watch over a single person or group. They guide and protect us from harm, keep track of time, and provide strength when we need it most. Guardian angels also help give direction to our lives–including showing where opportunities may lie–and they can offer spiritual guidance for those who seek their input.
– Strength: shielding humans against danger; providing physical protection on Earth; helping people find what course is best in life
– Power: safeguarding human beings’ well being by guarding them against dangers both visible and invisible
– Tasks: Guide people’s paths through life; shield individuals from accidents or injury, disease, disaster, accident, and illness (maybe even offering healing).
9 Different Types of Angels
Here is a list of different types of angels the Bible talks about.
First Sphere of Angels
The angels are in three groups. The highest level is the Seraphim, Cherubim, and Thrones choirs. They are the ones who are most close to God and live farthest from people on Earth.
Seraphim
The Bible talks about angels. The seraphim angels have a huge passion for God, and they burn with love for Him. Seraphim are the archangels Michael, Metatron and Seraphiel. Seraphim have six wings: two cover their faces, two cover their feet and two help them fly.
Cherubim
In the Bible, cherubs are said to have four faces (human, ox, lion and eagle) and four wings. They guarded the Garden of Eden. A common depiction of a cherub is as a baby angel. This is not how they are described in the Bible but they became popularised in Baroque art as a symbol for God because of their baby-like appearance.
Thrones
Angels are the Thrones of God. They have many eyes and they carry out his judgments. Their purpose is to serve him by being his chariot and to bring peace among men. Christians believe that these angels are under Jesus Christ’s command, who has four wings, four faces, and who is humble, submits to God, and brings peace among men.
Second Sphere of Angels
In the second sphere, these are called the celestial governors. They help with different activities that relate to the throne of God. This group includes Dominions, Virtues, and Powers.
Dominions
The Dominions have great power over the people. The leader of these angels is Tsadkiel, who helps people when they are in danger or need immediate help. Tsadkiel helps with human-caused emergencies and conflicts.
Virtues
When there is chaos in the world, there are good angels. They remove bad things from the world and people. These angels also help us to do the right thing. One of these types of angels is Raphael and he can heal and remove pain.
Virtues keep order in the world and in people. They remove negative energy. They are like angel royalty or purity. We can think of angels as miracles, which come from virtues such as Raphael.
Powers
The Holy Ghost gives us powers. Power is a spiritual force that helps make sure that we are safe. These are the ones who help us when we are being tempted by the world. They protect us from demons. They can be seen as warriors or soldiers to remember that they fight against evil.
Third Sphere of Angels
The third sphere angels are the ones that help us the most. These are the angels who work on Earth and are our guides, protectors, and messengers from God. They can be known as Principalities, Archangels or Angels.
Principalities
When you see a ray of sunshine, that is when I remember the angels. These angels are like light. They help people and towns. They help with religion and politics as well to make sure people are safe.
Archangels
Archangel is a type of angel. There are many types of angels. The Archangel is the chief angel. Some believe that there is only one Archangel, and some believe there are three or seven. The Archangel’s role is to protect all people in the world, not just one person.
Guardian Angels
Guardian angels are the ones who help us on Earth. They are closest to humans and furthest away from God. These Guardian angels help protect, comfort, and direct people on Earth. When we feel like someone is near to us, it is often a feeling of a guardian angel nearby. We can also know that there is one with us when we have an experience where we know someone was right next to us helping out.
