How many of us feel completely in control of our lives? It’s very easy for things to feel like they are spiraling out of control as life, work and family obligations pile up. As you struggle to get your feet under you, it can feel like it’s easier to just give up and let life sweep you along wherever it will.
If this is a familiar feeling, then you may start noticing a special message coming from your angels. This message will be in the form of the Angel number 10.
You may look at the clock and see that it is 10 minutes past the hour. You may even find a lot of dimes, each worth 10 cents. You will start to see 10s everywhere you look. So, what are your angels trying to tell you?
Angel Number 10 Meaning
10 is a powerful number with an equally powerful message. If you are seeing this, your angels are encouraging you to wake up and apply your potential.
The number 1 is the karmic number for optimism, confidence and self-determination. The number 0 is a magnifier that symbolizes karmic and divine energy and the wholeness of the creator.
Angel number 10 represents new beginnings, optimism, leadership, independence, success, creative powers, individuality, determination and, adaptability.
Since these add up to 1 (1+0), the meaning of 1 is doubly important. Your angels can see everything, and they do their best to guide you in little ways.
It’s important to remember that your angels will not spell it out for you and can’t put everything in order for you. You have to do the work yourself.
You have been gifted with free will and a divine spark that guides you. When the world gets crazy, that spark can be covered up and you can feel like you lose touch with your true purpose. Without that inner spark or guiding star, your direction can be confused.
If this happens, your angels are telling you to snap out of it and stop fighting battles for other people. While there is nothing wrong with caring about your friends and family and trying to smooth their paths, if you do it at your own expense, then you are giving up your free will and clouding your inner path.
Trusting Your Intuition
When you act against your intuition, you may feel this little nudge in your mind saying “this isn’t your path.” The farther off your path you get, the more often you may hear that little voice.
That voice is your intuition and your angels telling you that you aren’t reaching your potential and doing what is best for you.
On a subconscious level, your mind knows what it should and shouldn’t be doing. When you act against your best interests, you will find yourself experiencing cognitive dissonance, which is an innate feeling of wrongness you get your thoughts and actions don’t line up.
Your intuition can tell you when you’re working too hard, when you’re spending time with people who get you down and when you’re giving up too much of yourself to other people.
But if you don’t need the message, you move farther and farther away from your inner spark and the divine purpose that guides your life.
Where Will Self-Determination Take You?
What many people fear about self-determination is a failure. When you put all of your efforts into something and it doesn’t succeed, then you risk all your energy and effort for what feels like nothing. It can be easier to say that you put in the minimal effort or only work in small steps toward achieving your dreams.
After all, if you take small steps, you won’t fall as far if you fail, right? But if you don’t build in that time every day to achieve your dream, no matter what that dream is, then you will eventually lose touch with it. Rather than making progress, eventually, your dream and divine spark will seem too far away to realize.
To successfully self-determine your life, you must first realize that failure isn’t an ending. Just because you fail at achieving your dream doesn’t mean that you can’t start again.
How many authors were published on their first tries? How many business ideas failed before they could take off?
Failure is human. It is also divine. When you fail, you can let it crush you or you can turn it into a learning experience. If you fail to meet your dreams, you can pick yourself up and think, “What did I learn from this? What will I do differently in the future?”
You may even find that you have tried your best and poured your heart and soul into something and still fail. At this point, you may feel that you cannot personally succeed because after putting in that much effort, what do you have left?
This low point is where many people rediscover their divine spark and the grit that keeps them going. Life is a continuous study in self-improvement. Just because you failed once doesn’t mean you will continue to fail. Giving up is the only permanent failure.
Think back to when you were a child. Before you are burdened with responsibility, it is so easy to dream. Children have no trouble imagining impossible dreams.
Why stop at writing a story when you can write a story about a magical unicorn on the moon? Children’s dreams are unlimited because they are in touch with their divine sparks. They don’t feel self-conscious or ridiculous as they come up with the idea after idea. We could all learn from children.
It may seem cliché, but recapturing that child-like joy and inspiration can help remind you of what you want to achieve. By getting back in touch with your inner child, you can learn how to reshuffle your priorities so you take the time you need to focus on yourself and your dreams.
If you can’t remember how to get back to your inner child, think of what you enjoyed most when you were a kid. Adult coloring books are popular for a reason. They open the mind and bring you back to a calm, creative place.
If you aren’t one for coloring books, then go to a store and check out the kid’s toy aisle. Even playing outside at a park and turning over some rocks can help lead your mind away from stress and back to its true self.
It’s natural to care for the people in your life. But if you put yourself last over and over again, you are denying your natural talents and moving farther away from your divine spark. Your angels know your potential – and they want you to realize it for yourself.
