As an Earth sign, Taurus men aren’t the most demonstrative. If you’ve been with a Taurus man before, you might have been wondering whether he’s missed you at all when you’ve been away. While Taurus men aren’t the type to drown themselves in emotion. If you’re important enough to him, he does, indeed, miss you!
While it’s easy to know that in theory, sometimes we need to see stoic signs like Aries in action to know that they’re missing us. Use these tips cautiously and at your discretion, but these tricks and ideas should be good ways to get your Aries man to show you that he really does miss you, rather than just burying it down.
Understanding the Taurus Man
Taurus men are a unique breed, but they’re not hard to understand. Essentially, the Taurus is the classic, quintessential man; he’s strong, gentlemanly, proud, stoic, and very masculine. The classic Taurus man isn’t good at sharing or expressing emotions, but he does try, and he does better than some of the other signs.
Unfortunately, Taurus men can be a bit oblivious, too. While he cares about you deeply, he’s not one to spare too many thoughts about how you feel unless you tell him something’s truly wrong. He would rather use his time and energy to work towards the future he envisions with you than speculate on things that may or may not be true.

To be fair, the Taurus man does deserve some credit. While hs focus can blind him to domestic problems at home, the Taurus man is caring, thoughtful, and very intelligent (when he wants to be). Spend Time Apart
Spending time apart from someone is one of the most sure-fire ways to get them to miss you. As they say, absence makes the heart grow fonder, and this is true for relationships with a Taurus man, too. While it might feel foreign or even painful to spend extra time away from your Taurus man, you might be surprised at the results.
Logically, of course, your Taurus man misses you when you leave, but he’s not always the type to realize that you want to hear that from him. As such, one of the greatest ways to get him to comment on how much he misses you is to make him miss you more than usual. The chances are that your Taurus man is used to missing you while you’re at work, buying groceries, and doing regular tasks, so he doesn’t think to tell you that he misses you during these times.
Try changing up the usual routine with him a bit instead. By introducing a new variable into your daily routine, such as being out later or longer than usual, the surprise of the new routine will snap him out of his earlier cycle. He will likely notice that he misses you more than usual right away (and even tell you as much).
Show Some Passion
A foolproof way to tempt your man to miss you more is to kindle his fires of passion! While Taurus men tend to keep work and personal life very much separate, it’s not hard to draw him out of his work for a little extra passion if he’s a workaholic. There are several ways to do this, but try some of the following, to start (whichever you’re comfortable with is fine!):
- Send him secretive text messages or emails
- Send him provocative pictures
- Mention what you’d like to do when you both get home
- Spray your perfume on his collar
- Leave him a note
There are many little things you can do to get him thinking about you, even when he might be busy with other things. It’s always a good idea to take into consideration how busy he might be and whether or not he can afford to miss you, of course. For example, if he has an important meeting to attend, don’t call him in the middle of it to talk about frivolous things.
While situational awareness is important, tying his missing you to your passionate moments together is a great way to make you stick in his mind. Missing your company is one thing, but the more reasons you can give him to miss you, the better!
Take a Vacation
Taking a short vacation without your Taurus man for a few days is a great way to rekindle his missing of you. While it might be hard to consider going on a vacation by yourself, it’s a great way to kill two birds with one stone; you’ll be reminding him of how much he misses you, and you’ll be enjoying yourself on an impromptu vacation, too!
A great way to do this is to visit friends or family out of your main town. Go somewhere far enough where your Taurus man won’t have time to come along (and won’t have time to sneak out for a visit, either), but not far enough that you’re really causing him pain. The goal is to make him miss you, not wonder whether he’s losing you!
Spending a day or two away from your Taurus has several benefits. For one, if you two live together or sleep in the same bed on a regular basis, he’ll come home to an empty bed at night. This entry bed, while temporary, will remind him of how much he misses having you in his arms and sleeping next to you.
Do be careful with how many responsibilities you leave your Taurus man with, though. If you have pets, children, or other such responsibilities that you usually take care of at home, dumping them all on him for a few days may be overwhelming for him, and it could leave him feeling angry or resentful. If you have a Taurus man in your life, you probably already know that he can be incredibly stubborn. While it might be tempting, it’s never a good idea to try and out-stubborn a Taurus! Instead, we recommend cultivating patience instead. While your Taurus is laid-back and takes life slowly, he can get impatient when there’s something he wants!
If your first attempt to get him to say he misses you doesn’t work, don’t panic. While your Taurus man is intelligent, he’s not always the most observant, after all. Keep in mind that he’s not intentionally working against you, and take the time to formulate a better plan of action for next time.
Try to be patient while you’re waiting for him to tell you that he misses you, too. Like we mentioned, your Taurus man can be a bit on the oblivious side sometimes, so he might not realize how much he misses you right away. If you’re going away for a night or two, don’t get upset if he doesn’t proclaim that he misses you on the first night (though he still very well could).

If you’re a woman who enjoys hearing men say that they miss you, then you’ve probably played a game or two at their expense before. While the point of this article isn’t to promote or condemn such activities, you should know that playing games and tricks at the expense of a Taurus male is a very dangerous game.
One example of something to avoid is pulling back too far from your Taurus male. While Taurus does tend to get complacent (secure) after he’s sure he has you, that’s no reason to punish him, either. What you’re looking to do here is give him a gentle reminder, not make him feel insecure or threatened. A threatened Taurus is nothing to mess with!
Some people will recommend that you stop texting your Taurus male for a while, or that you disappear from his life for a few days. While this strategy can work, it’s heavily dependent on how close you and your Taurus male are. If you only spend a few days a week together and lead otherwise independent lives, then it may take him longer to begin missing you, or it might not work at all. However, if you’re married and spend almost every day together, he could be quite alarmed or worried if you suddenly pull out of his life completely for several days.
Since you’re the one who knows your Taurus man best, you’ll be able to tell for sure what’s the best strategy of these for getting him to miss you. However, know that Taurus men have little tolerance for games and leading people on. If he thinks you’re playing games with him, even if it’s only to get him to say he misses you, he might be angrier, or he might even begin rethinking his place in your relationship. You don’t want that at all!
We think it’s best that you avoid playing games with your Taurus male altogether, as it’s quite a risky game. However, if you know him well and think it will be okay, go ahead! Just proceed with caution!
Remind Him
Sometimes, especially with oblivious signs like the male Taurus, the best way to make him miss you is to remind him that he misses you. This isn’t a tough thing to do; for some Taurus, all it takes is a quick, caring text while he’s at work that he can open and smile at later.
You don’t need to be secretive or devious about this, either. Your Taurus man will miss you regardless of whether you do this or not, but it’s pretty easy to do on your own, too.
There are a lot of ways you can work subtly to remind your Taurus male that he should be missing you. Some options include:
- Send him a text saying you love him and miss him
- Send a home-made lunch with him to work
- Do his chores at home
- Cook his favorite food for dinner
As you can see, there are plenty of ways to go about making sure your Taurus man misses you. If you wanted to, you could do a combination of several of the above, too!

When all else fails, the best way to get your Taurus man to miss you is to simply ask him about it! While getting him to admit he misses you is satisfying in its own way, the next best thing is to simply ask if he misses you or not. As an honest sign that cares deeply about you, he’ll promptly tell you he does!
If you have the desire to do so, you can take this a step further and ask him to tell you how he misses you more. Taurus males aim to please, and while they’re not always good at sniffing out what will please you, he will be more than happy to oblige once you tell him. Really – it’s just that easy!
Of course, if you don’t want to let him know what you want outright, this won’t work, but we recommend giving it some thought. While some signs might be receptive to (and even enjoy) deciphering subtle clues to what you want, Taurus males are not one of them. He will be far more appreciative of a straightforward approach, regardless of how awkward the idea might seem at first. After all, one of his most important priorities is to make you happy!
